Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 9 July 2025

At MRS Bookkeeping, I am committed to making my website accessible to as many people as possible.

I want everyone who visits mrsbookkeeping.co.uk to feel welcome and find the experience straightforward, regardless of ability or technology.

šŸŽÆ What I’m Doing

To help achieve this, I aim to:
• Use clear, simple language wherever possible.
• Ensure good colour contrast between text and background.
• Structure content with headings, lists, and landmarks for easier navigation.
• Provide descriptive alternative text for images.
• Make the site usable with keyboard navigation.
• Avoid using content that flashes or flickers.
• Keep my website responsive and compatible with modern browsers and assistive technologies.

🧪 Accessibility Standards

This website has been built using the GeneratePress theme, which provides a strong foundation for accessibility.

I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as far as is reasonably practical for a small business.

šŸ› ļø How I Test

I use a combination of:
• Manual keyboard testing
• The WAVE Accessibility Tool
• Lighthouse Accessibility Audits

to help identify and fix accessibility issues.

āš ļø Known Issues
