Hello—I’m Martin Schmalenbach, the person behind MRS Bookkeeping.
I grew up here in Bideford and spent many years serving as an RAF Officer before moving into roles in both the public and private sectors across the UK and around the world. Along the way, I developed a passion for helping organisations and individuals bring clarity and order to their finances—even when things feel a little chaotic.
Outside of bookkeeping, you’ll usually find me hanging out with friends’ dogs, looking up at the night sky with a telescope, or behind a camera capturing the beauty around us (usually involving the night sky!).
